Camp will take place on our Mixon Music Campus, at 3019 Pico Blvd in Santa Monica.
Where?
Camp is three weeks long — from June 17th to July 6th, 2019. Camp begins Monday through Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm
When?
For the busy parents who have to drop off their child early or leave them a little longer after, there will be before-care and after-care provided. Please e-mail us in advance to let us know.

ARE YOU IN SESSION FOR JULY 4TH?
Family comes first. As a family-run business, we understand some of our kids may have plans for that day so on July 4th, summer camp is out! We will be back in session the very next day.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
For the duration of 3 weeks from 9am to 3pm every Monday through Friday (expect for Independence Day!), we will be designing, practicing, running lines, learning songs, and making friends. This is approximately 84 hours of instruction and productivity. Mixon Music Summer Camp requires a $50 deposit which is included in the total $795 for all three weeks. Before May 5th, payment plans are available for parents who reach out to Rachel Mixon. We don’t want money to be the reason a child can’t have an amazing camp experience.
WHY CHARLIE BROWN?
We are choosing a musical that evenly distributes both the work load and those precious moments in the limelight. We want to give every kid an important role. Charlie Brown is perfect because it allows the stage to hold many stars. Another plus — our piano students will join us for some Charlie Brown music!
How old do you have to be?
Mixon Music is accepting youth between the ages of 6 and 15. However, a little younger or older is acceptable. Each case is individually decided after an interview with parent and child.
